The Bunbury Seafarers Centre is a safe and happy place to relax and recreate while in the City of Bunbury
Crew Wellbeing is our priority
The Flying Angel Club, as it is known to seafarers, operates Monday to Friday. at present. As we recruit more volunteers our aim is to open seven days a week from 12pm - 9pm each day.
We remain deeply appreciative to all seafarers who heroically continue to supply the world with goods and fuels to keep us going. If you are a seafarer and need assistance please email us flyingangelby@bigpond.com
Ships don’t bring us over 95% of everything we have. Seafarers do.
MTS Bunbury is one of 27 Australian centres actively responding with loving care to the many challenges and dangers faced by seafarers.
We give seafarers a chance to:
connect with their loved ones and children, often for the first time;
mentally and spiritually recharge for the next leg of their voyage; and
access medical, welfare, and chaplaincy services.
We work closely with Australian Government agencies and Bunbury port users to improve the treatment of seafarers and shipping practices in Australian waters.
Seafarers continually sustain every Australian with the goods we need and enjoy. As a worldwide charity, the Mission to Seafarers stands alongside these 1.6 million men and women in 260 ports around the world.
Shipping is human-powered. Let’s give back.
